Anyone know any former long time Bethelites or circuit overseers?
by BourneIdentity inas you know, when you work your whole life, you pay into social security.
at retirement, you collect a paycheck from the government based on a percentage of income you drew for all those years.
do any of you know anyone that had been at bethel for decades and then were laid off?

The "Green Handshake" refers to the Circuit Overseers visit to each Congregation, that during his visit, many Elders will hand over cash (gifts) to curry favor with the CO in the way of getting Assembly & Convention talks and various positions on the Circuit level or in the Congregation.

Introducing myself
by Leopold theseconed ini have been introduced to this site by my new friends that are helping me navigate through the reality of waking up and finding out that i have been lied to my whole life.
i grew up in the truth and have given over thirty years to this organization and the few years i wasn’t there my mind was certainly trapped.
the more i think about it i am really not that surprised there was a lot along the way that should have woken me up but it took till recently.

Letter to my sons, why I left WT -- 1975 and lies were reasons

it clearly shake my perspective of what is going to happen in the coming months.. i'm totally shocked !.
the law firm managing all the interests of the wt has studied the problem in europe on data protection and actions on files and protocols of child abuse.

One of the last KM Schools that I attended as an Elder, we were told that "Each Elder has a million dollar liability insurance cap provided by the Branch, as long as you follow direction correctly".
